I felt the same way when I saw it. I thought it would be utter rubbish, but daughter wanted to see it. It was a refreshing bit of child appropriate insanity.

Why have unexpected busy things kept happening on Sunday nights? I know I'm supposed to start these things and 1/2 the time I don't get around to do it until Monday morning when someone else has already taken care of it. At least this time it's related to a job interview.

It's okay, I kinda like it when us plebs get to start it occasionally :D

If he was a D.I.N.K. he wouldn't be looking for work, now would he? ;) :D

But seriously, good luck and Godspeed on the whole job hunt.

Here in distraction things started off in true Monday fashion, but I'm trying my best to just laugh it off and roll with it.

Getting ready to chow down on a cup-o-noodle followed by some pudding.

no sure what D.I.N.K. is, pretty sure it's not the Spaceballs reference I was doing, though :D

And yes, today is Monday's evil twin, Evil Monday. What's worse is he almost exclusively only visits on the Monday after a long break...jackass

Also, wish I had pudding. That sounds really, really, really, really, really good right now...may have to make an unplanned trip to the store in a few minutes now....

naw, what you need is Spaceballs the Flamethrower. You can totally toast Evil Monday with one of those.

You know, I understand and appreciate credit companies/banks/financial places in general trying to be very secure and strict with policies and such, but you know, it really irks me to know that I'm in the extremely small minority - married, lifetime commitment, this is a permanent covenant, all things shared, etc., so when my wife's name is on a bill, it's a major ordeal for me to call and do any kind of customer support work with it.

Actually, it only irks me a little. It saddens me a lot that we've gotten to such a place in our culture where it's impossible to trust someone's spouse, from a business point-of-view.

What makes this particular instance more irksome is the fact that both our names were on this particular line of credit at the time (furniture store), but my wife's name was primary. Now the account has changed companies, and my name didn't transfer over, so now my wife is going to have to call and correct the online setup goof I made.
Went to setup the account so I could make online payments, and everything was going fine until it logged me in, and what I have staring at me on the screen is an OLD account with this particular institution I'd forgotten about, but used the same bank.
My fault for forgetting, but 10 times out of 9, when you go to register at a website and you try to use the same login name, it informs you that that name is already used.....guess what, this one didn't. I hold it half responsible for the screwup.

And further, the lady tried to help, but without my wife being here to verify or whatever, she couldn't pass me to tech support for a simple username change.

Ugggghh. Guess they don't want my money

    Painting ceilings suck.

Indeed. I've never actually done it myself, but I've seen my dad and uncle do it, and seen it on This Old House, and can tell from those that I'm not inclined to voluntarily do it myself

This was my first time. First coat of primer. Needs at least another, to cover/hopefully stop the stupid tobacco juice that drips from the ceiling. Previous owners were smokers, and the humidity from a shower makes the juice leech out from the ceiling. :sick007

Small bathroom but I have trouble holding my hands over my head for long. Heck even putting my hair in a ponytail is too much at times.

I was a skeptic at first, but after 3 rooms and a hallway, I'm a big believer in the paint and primer in one paints. I like Home Depot's Behr version better, but both have been excellent, single coat applications.
I wouldn't use it on bare wood probably, but it has been excellent, even covering a dark blue with light brown/tan in a single coat.
