Just so's ya know. Just because you get a papercut, is no reason to cover your whole hand in super glue, and then spend an hour or more trying to get it off.

    Just so's ya know.

However, I have devised a new smoking cessation program and/or diet.

    Congrats! I think. :o
I feel dumb asking, but......is that a straight razor, a single edge, or what?

I can see all the in health clubs stocking up on super glue. :D

The Rapide is an old SE razor that actually had its own hollow ground wedge blades. So basically... it is a straight edge on a single edge handle. It is like the Rolls Razor, but larger handle and better feel. As a bonus, it can also take modern SE blades as well, which is great when you don't have the stones or setup to get its original wedge blades in shave ready condition in a decent amount of time.

Actually, I'm planning on opening Super Glue Centers all over the world, to help people with their self-control issues. Dieting, quit smoking, quit caffeine, stop spousal abuse, etc.....
In fact, I may have discovered the key to world peace. :happy088

Ahhh.....I must have superglue in my brain. Thanks for the razor re-education! :signs001

Oh, also.......part of your post is highly likely to show up in the Out Of Context thread.

I swear, somebody forgot to tell Monday that it was done.

I think today is more Monday than Monday was.

    I will say this:

I freaking hate freaking laptop labs. They are the worst thing to happen to school IT programs. Seriously, they're buggy as heck, hard to service, difficult to keep running right, batteries suck, and keeping them connected is a b*tch.

The things are fragile as heck, and the kids don't treat them as such. God forbid one of them doesn't work right away, they treat them even more like garbage then. I'm hogtied, I have to provide service on these abominations, and when I walk into a class that's having problems with them (and believe me, if one is having problems, they're all having problems), all I hear is b*tching and moaning about how "these computers suck!" and "I hate these computers!"

Well, if you treated them with a little more respect, they might work better! Nobody shuts them down properly, half of them don't get plugged back in to charge, and the things are never given enough time to recharge fully between classes... it's no wonder they have no battery life and don't work right.

And I have yet to get a lab of these things to connect properly through wireless on the first try.

Did I mention, I hate laptop labs?

See my location. I'm sorry to say that Monday is an existential state. Some of us never move out of Monday.

I gave Monday the "Hail Skroob" yesterday....it then proceeded to kick me in the gonads, headlock me and give me a noogie, then a swirley, and has followed me into today with an atomic wedgie.

Monday sucks. It's such a big bully

yeah. we need to send Monday to anger management classes, followed by a full course on political correctness, and finished with a rousing rendition of Kum-By-Ya sung sung around a campfire where he's required to hold hands with the other days of the week.

By the time we're done with Monday he won't know his head from a hole in the ground. :D

As a non important member of the global community and all powers associated with that title, I hereby recommend and demand that henceforth, all monday's shall be severely reprimanded for in fact not being Fridays. And then, in addition to Kum Ba Ya... Monday will be forced to watch Annie over and over and over and over because...

    The sun'll come out
    Tomorrow
    Bet your bottom dollar
    That tomorrow
    There'll be sun!

...is just annoying enough that someone else should have that stuck in their head.

    TGINM!

Anyone know of a Firefox Add-On that will search all my bookmarked websites in one go?

I have looked, but ugghhh....those things make my head spin.

Great. All that singing from Little Orphan Annie compelled Monday to follow me home.

    Thanks.

I have a lot of supplier websites bookmarked. I don't want to search each individual site for a particular item, but I don't want all the stupid stuff Google searches give me.

Basically a refined search, that returns results based purely on sites I've bookmarked.

I found an experimental one that works okay. Not ideal though.
Also, a review of one add-on, where the guy was looking exactly for what I'm looking for, mentioned rollyo.com. I'll have to check them out.

Woke up with what feels to be a pinched nerve.
Shave was very rough. What moron honed this blade? Oh yeah, that was me. I guess the Rapide blade still isn't in tip top shape. Oh well, I don't see me honing anything for a while if my shoulder/neck keeps hurting like this every time I move my arm or neck.

But yay! It is Wednesday, one day further from that blasphemous Monday. Think happy place, happy place happy place..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Wait! How'd you get away from monday? (I refuse to give monday the respect involved in capitalizing it.)

I put in a full day at work of jumping from one unsolvable problem to the next, running myself ragged. I couldn't get a single thing to work right, and everything was just breaking down around me.

And then my alarm went off and it was time to get up and come in to work.

To top it all off, yesterday was a miserable day at work, and then I went home. Wife was working on a project for her renfaire costume, and it didn't work. This is the second time she's attacked this project, and the first time wasn't successful either. She got totally discouraged, and now she doesn't want to dress up for the faire. She's totally stressing out about her online business which, frankly, has stalled before it ever got started. It's all very discouraging. I think her bad afternoon and my bad day set the tone for my dreams last night. My dreams seem to be setting the tone for my day today. It's a vicious circle.

    I want off this merry-go-round. :sick007

Seriously though, maybe we need to hold auditions for Ms. Spring Distraction 2011, perhaps lighten the mood around here.

edit: Oh hey! Everything's getting a little better; Zooey just winked at me.
