I only had that soap in the Rustic version. I think it was Blackbeard. Was ok, but not a repurchase. Never tried their tallow version. Yes, that Yates with the shorter, thicker handle looks great!
Great write up. Very interesting to see what they have done with that Dual comb. Fendrihan has had a SS dual comb head for a few years now, but never seems to get any play on here. I've never tried it.
Is that the Red Ring you wanted to offer up in the bet?:angelic007:
Glad to hear the Hawk is getting dialed in. I really like mine. The V2 was ok, too, and would have improved greatly with the same heavy handle as the V3.
Hope you had a great day off, Joe. Much time left on that soap?
Congrats on the new brush, Andrew. Another straight sticker, I see...looks like they saved Mr. Magoo for me and me alone...
Congrats on the soap, Joseph. I vote for switching soaps and seeing if you can deep six another.
    Love the comparison, Pierpaolo.
    Fantastic, Gary.
Made it to # 007 yet?:)

Thanks they came out with 3 options. 95 SB and 72 SB and the DC. I got the DC and 72 SB which gave me all 3 possible shaves.

I am so sorry for your friend. By the time, I was sworn in the GA Army National Guard had agreed to pay for all my college, so I was seeing dollar signs and not reality. I wouldn't give anything for the experience but I would think a little harder this time around before signing. Of course I could say that about a lot of my decisions as a young man. :D

Thank you Jason. Asha really likes WSP since its near her boyfriend's house in AZ. She cares more about the scents and with Citron Cedar she hit a grand slam. It reminds me so much of Mike's Orange Cedar & Black Pepper. I adored that scent as well.

    Thanks Clint.

I think you made the right decision and I know you feel the same way after looking back on it. The Military has opened the doors for a lot of people to get a college education. Just imagine where you would be today if you had not made that decision. Take care.

Wetshaving and BBQ do have some similarities.

Just like in the Q-world where some folks believe that special bobble or trinket puts things over the top, we try to teach otherwise here in the 30DC, where good foundational principles and acquired skills rule.

I can use Rocky Road if I have to.
