Today was a pretty standard day of work for me until I realized it wasn't Thursday at lunch. We are having Avenue Q at the theatre tonight and I had to do some work backstage this afternoon. When no one was around I snapped a pic with one of the muppets. It definitely made the day worthwhile.

 

I'll just leave this here....

I think if I went anywhere near that muppet with a razor, I would be tackled and beaten.

Seriously, I spent a good 10 minutes one day looking up info about it and never found anything that clarified it as succinctly as that.
I couldn't tell if it was a soup/stew, a sauce, a specific spice blend, or what.
So your response told me more in a split second glance than all the rest of teh interwebz could

And it's probably pretty obvious it's not a common dish in my neck of the woods. It's probably around here, but it's probably something you'd have to look hard for....except now that I say that, it'll probably be the first thing I see next time I go to the store

 

Spring Break is coming up next week. So wife and I were talking about plans for this weekend and next night. At some point, I lost track of time and didn't reralize until 12:30 AM that it was actually Thursday morning and not Saturday morning and I had to get to sleep. What a disappointment that was. So here I am with just a hair more than 3 hours of sleep and walk out into... snow.

As Arthur Dent stated, "It must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays."

 

Huh.. I always assumed it was some exotic spice thing. Well... Jim, Thanks for asking the thing I should have asked years ago. JoAnna, thanks for the succinct answer.

Speaking of Thursday, I think we need a missing poster for him.

I'm quite fairly sure [slash]M[/slash]monday has kidnapped Thursday, stuffed him in a cargo container somewhere, and is now pretending to be the day after Wednesday.

Today didn't even wait for me to get in my car to get to work before the calls started coming in.....

Thursday is fine. I think he would have mentioned something if Monday were up to no good.

 

Oh yeah, Thursday is a fine fellow, he wouldn't treat me like this, that's why I think monday blindsided him with a sneak attack, that devious turd of a largemouth bass....

Don't forget Friday.

Friday is the closest to Monday and is often overlooked because of Saturday and Sunday. It is an evil evil day.

Friday is a two-edged sword; it welcomes us to The Weekend, but, like you say, is also the harbinger of monday

I worry about me sometimes.

I was just walking down the hallway, and a child was approaching me, when she spoke to a teacher behind me. She raised a slip of paper and announced "This is my hallpass!"

The thought that immediately popped into my head was:

This is my hallpass,
This is my gun.
One is for killing,
The other's for fun!

I think I my brain might be broken.
