Thank you. I plan on trying one out soon..just not sure in what razor yet. From what little info I've found on them they sound like a nice shaving blade in spite of the guard on them.
I know little to nothing about AC blades, but I think there are some currently available which have a similar blade guard on them.

The blades look like they are double edged though. All AC blades I've seen are SE.

I've used a couple of those Safe-Guard blades, made by Personna. Very smooth............

Yes, these are absolutely DE blades. Sorry if I was unclear on that..Just making a comparison to the guard on these vintage blades & guard available on current production AC blades like this Feather ProGuard. featherpgbladeb2_large.jpg

Glad to hear that Jim. I thought being a vintage personna blade they should be pretty good.

Nice Mike. I wonder if those blades are for the Durham Duplex razor ? Beats the carpet blades. Look similar to Feather Pro Guards AC Blades

Thanks Dave. Not for three Durham Duplex as are standard size DE with addition of the guard.

The technology was from the Personna folks when they were owned by Phillip Morris I think.

Personna currently sells a razor called Bump Fighter using a guarded blade. The target market is men of African descent who are more prone to suffer ingrowns.

I I have used guarded Artist Club blades from Feather and Kai. They work well.

    Interesting find you have there.

Like I said, I'm a sucker for 3d printed razors. Thanks, Roger, for your fine work.

    Some new items.

First a Gibbs No 13. It has a differential base plate and takes a standard DE blade without modifications.
    Gibbs1.jpg Gibbs2.jpg

Next a prototype razor made by @twhite. We are testing out an idea of porting the Razorock Hawk V3 open comb to an injector blade with maybe some tweaks on the shave geometry. If it is satisfactory then 3d printed files will be made available.

    Some more items just arrived.

Williams and I assume the same Williams that is responsible for Aqua Velva and Williams Mug soap hollow handle razor circa the 1930s.
    will1.jpg will2.jpg

Next up a complete set with shipper of a 1928 - 1929 Gillette New Standard set w/new improved 2pc razor.
    ni4.jpg ni5.jpg
You can tell it is 1928 - 29 version by how far the cap ends extends over the flat center portion of the base plate.
