Thanks Jeff! I like the Feather blades, but they are expensive even if you get the normal amount of shaves like your average DE. The small amount of shaves one gets with Feathers places the price to stratospheric levels.

I never use any DE blade with the exception of my Sunekos more than twice!

Did it feel as good as everyone says it feels to decide to retire? When my Dad retired he decided he would help Mom around the house (kitchen) and that didn't go well. She said " Find your father a hobby and get him out of my kitchen ".:happy102:. Apparently he meant well but his 'help' involved trying to add to her ingredients or change how she did things for years . He soon found some hobbies and enjoyed life till he was 89 :). Said retiring was best decision he ever made . Hoping you guys enjoy your 'free' time as much as he did . You both earned it . 15 more years for me to go.

It hasn't completely sunk in, Patrick. It probably won't until that first workday after it's official and I'm not going to work.
    Very cool! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jason, Polishing removes surface material and can change the characteristics depending on how much it needs to be polished.
    Thanks Joe
Thanks Patrick, I'll have to fix that ;)

    Wednesday's Shave

    Gillette NEW Short Comb
    Astra SP (1)
    Wild West Brushworks 'Odin'
    Haslinger Schafmilch Shaving Soap
    T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Alt Innsbruck Aftershave
    Soap Commander Integrity ASB

This sheep's milk soap is one of my top favorites and always has one of the most soothing lathers, for both feel and scent. I would like to find a wooden bowl for it though. These glass containers work fine for storage, but I've grown tired of the clinking sound while loading the brush.
Seeing how well Danny @Hembree polished his own SC razor makes me want to get to work on mine. Out of the direct light, it's a pretty dull finish and I would like to make it shine. It's an A+ great shaver.

3 full passes with the NEW SC provided a very comfortable and uber-efficient result, well into the BBS territory. No irritation or mishaps to report even with utilizing the pseudo-ATG pass on my lower neck.
