    That is a very good question, Andrew. This puck of Haslinger is the smallest I have ever seen that isn't purported to be a sample. I'd say sloped bottom, not flat. That would enable the puck to be manipulated a bit but not c0mpletely smushed out if you didn't want it to be. Wide enough that you can swirl a brush properly, but not as wide as many I've made.
    I'll put mine in one of my smaller bowls and see how it does.
