Its interesting watching my daughter this morning. The bunny crazed child really wants to go see Hop. However, to do so would require going out in public, and going out on April Fools day. I think her anxiety is trumping her obsession.

Mike, I got 22 seconds before I couldn't take any more. The pencil-sketch effect was very creepy.

 

So is the song and video written and produced by a 13 year old thinking about how cool high school kids are? I could only make it to the minute mark. But that was due to the internet being very choppy slow. But at least it is still working.

They are supposed to switch my DSL platform today at some point. If you don't see me for a few days, that will be why. New modem isn't going to be sent until after the switch is made and there is no guarantee that the old modem will work with ATM platform.

Sorry.. I work with 13 year olds all day, and this has that tween pop feel to it. And yes, the girl in the video is 13 (thanks to Wikipedia for that info)

 

As per usual, I can see a few of thinkgeek's products being available for real.

The t-shirt, bonsai kitty plush, de-3d glasses, lightsaber popsicle, and maybe even the playmobil set.

It's pretty obvious that they're starting to put up things that they can make and anticipate sales.

Or am I being cynical?

According to Wikipedia the song was published by a vanity label (a.k.a. pay for it yourself). The refrain appears to be permanently etched into my brain. Is she saying Friday, or fried eggs?

 

I was thinking the same thing, the April Fool's products are getting less and less outlandish, probably in anticipation of public demand for the real thing.

And exactly the products you mentioned would be easy enough to produce....except the playmobil set, no way apple would ever agree to license it unless they can limit the number kids that can play with each set, limit the number of times they can share it, restrict them from using legos and action figures from other companies with it, restrict them from reselling it to another user, ......

when I went to it earlier this morning, they were up to BOC #7.....and it was still showing some left so I quickly hit "I want one", then it took you to a game, you had to get a high score on a Woot! based flash game (I wish I could've hired Lee...), then if you get a high enough score, you could purchase.
