Broke out the Haslinger soap this morning. I got it in the fall; quite honestly to get me over the free shipping threshold when I topped up the L'Orange Noir after the surprise discontinuation. It is quite a small, hard puck that I decided to grate and press into the bowl after a discussion with a few of you on here doing the same thing. The first lather looked just ok but performed much better than that. Still going with the ER and it glided through and over the soap for 3 passes. I'm not perfectly smooth, but not too far from it. As others have commented, this is a very neutral 'soap' smell. Nothing off-putting (Arko, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?)...Different that my loved Palmolive stick. A quality soap, no question. My Reserve Spice doesn't get the run it used to as I've accumulated a few Shulton bottles, but this is a faithful and quality dupe for sure.

Great shave Danny! Sometimes things suddenly click. I am not a guy who prefers unscented soap, but I understand there is a need for them. People have allergies and stay clear from frags. Also, you can use any aftershave to finish the shave. Have a great day!
