Hmmm...I'm a little late to this party. These are interesting thoughts. My thoughts on this would mirror Clint's, for the most part. The point of a NB was a ban on acquiring new stuff or upgrading. If someone wants to replace their favourite splash that just ran dry, that is fine. That being said, if someone has 37 splashes and wants to replace one that is empty, that may be stretching the purpose a bit. So, I'm ok for those in the 'agreement' with me to replace existing and empty products, but I think the razor replate is an upgrade to current gear, imho.

 

Then I recommend ditching the Arko...

My thoughts even before our agreement was to only purchase needs not wants. I don't see myself needing anything this year. All my backups have backups.

Back to back shaves with the Feather AC DX. Easy lathering from the EVO and PAA's CK6 formula, actually only a face lather today. 2 quick passes with the DX (handle removed long ago, razor tang wrapped with the red/black leather cord). 2 neck weepers, not much of anything at all, solved when I used PAA's Star Jelly. Healthy dose of the Future Fiction aftershave & cologne, a very nice citrusy peppered musk aroma. Ready for a Monday!

Here's PAA's scent description: Citrus (Lemon, Bergamot & Mandarin Orange), White Musk, Jamaican Ginger, White Pepper, Haitian Vetiver, Hiba Wood, Honey Amber, Black Sage, Peppermint, Jerusalem Pine

Sounds more than fair

I'm probably not in near as good as shape as Jim but I'm certainly not in any pain or hurting and I don't tend to buy anything for myself. Only items that might be purchased would be directly and immediately pif'd or given to somebody. my intent from the beginning was to not purchase anything for myself and to reduce stock that is on hand. Replenishing stock I emptied would make no sense for my goals.
