    Needs, not wants. Works for me, Jason. :)

    For transparency...my Sister discovered Stirling and Fine (with my help :)) and purchased a couple of Christmas presents for me last year. I don't plan to ask for shave-related items this year, but she may press the "Easy Button" and get me soaps or aftershaves again at Christmas. (I've been told I'm hard to buy for, so "Easy Buttons" are somewhat of a relief to my family.) Aside from the occasional PIF or LE items that come my way, that's it for me. I'm considering running this NB past the 1-year mark, as much as practical. I have plenty of stuff to enjoy and/or share for awhile.
    Same here, Jim and @Dave in KY. We got this. :)

    good morning gents,getting back to the focus i started ,the german #34 aluminum tech today,unique cap and baseplate,nothing interchanges with any other tech..light but efficient.slightly narrower from edge to edge,putting more of a curvature to the blade.only made for a year or 2 ..
    fine nivea lather built with the wcs synthetic,smooth bbs in 3 of my usual passes.no drama.nivea balm and aftershave complete the scene..awesome .have a fine monday everyone..:cool:

    Congrats, Danny. It doesn't surprise me that you tamed the Hawk.

    I bet the Imperial Soap is good. I've used Imperial Pomade (to keep my toupee glued down), and it's good stuff too.

    If you're interested, I'm game for a run with our Parker SRX's in February. A month-long shavette focus kinda gets old, so maybe a 7-shave mini-focus? Or not. Your call!
