Clint, the Wolfman is a looker, and the boar knot on the Thäter looks much more refined than my Omega. I'm surprised that it hasn't softened up. I'll be curious to see if folks rave about the Fine shave soaps once they are reintroduced.

Headaches are rough. Getting adequate sleep and proper hydration usually does the trick for me. I hope you feel better soon, my friend.

 

Thank you guys. Jason, it could be stress related. It happened late last year and I went to the doctor. Basically I took it easy for a few days and things improved. I am trying to schedule a full physical so maybe we can see what's causing all this stuff.

Expanding the focus to include one of the few remaining creams in my den.
Art of Shaving Sandalwood.
I will finish this month off using it daily and next month, will work on finishing it up.
Beautiful lather which was created with the help of my Simpson Polo 8.

No knocking this gorgeous goo...

Fresh Feather in the R41. Decent slickness and protection led to a very good shave,
without incident. Post shave is mediocre, highlighted by some dryness.
Cracked open a just-received bottle of Proraso ASB (white bottle, new formula)
Seems to be slightly tackier than the older formula, but nothing egregious.

The bottom number on my blood pressure is high. The doctor is unsure if that is the cause of the headaches or a symptom. I need to finish out this week and then maybe we can get it sorted.

Hey, can I fit a Tabac puck in one of them fancy shave bowls? I visited a a lumber store a couple of years ago in Northern Ohio where they sold exotic woods. I'm a big fan of Brazilian Rosewood in case you are interested.

 

I know. I tried speaking louder. I am going to have to get a new phone. The mike is damaged. I am fine with earbuds to talk on phone, but are useless when I am recording.

Thanks Blair! I just wanted to show you guys that lathering doesn't have to be so boring and it doesn't have to be picture perfect to get a great shave. Once you have the technique down, you can experiment and enjoy shaving by having fun. Have a great day!

 

Of course you tamed it. Amazing to me how it followed by Katana journey to a T. Love the GIT scent as well. Something in the shave soaps turns my face a little red, but I cheat and use the shampoo bar version once in a while.
