Wonderful shave rocking the A&E Shaving Butter. I wonder if it will replace your beloved Tabac? :bounce017::bounce017:

The Thayers shave cream isn’t designed for a brush, but rather works similar to Cremo Original. My bride brought some home as well, but ended up using it herself.

Thanks, Joe, do you call the tomato concoction you add to pasta ‘gravy’ or ‘sauce’? My family’s from Montecatini Terme in Tuscany. ;)

Are you messing with me, Joe! Or just confusing me with Charlie! Charlie - Tabac/ Jeff - MWF. TABAC is better suited to cleaning up toilet bowels where that vile scent fits right in!

Thanks, Clint! Let me send you a Feather SS Kamisori! You already have the blades for it! C’mon over to the dark side! :signs136: :D

Switched up to the Gillette Injector today for a 2 day run that will decide it’s fate. I think the Cool soap will get the ‘every 2nd day until it is done’ routine now as well.
After 3 easy passes, my opinion of this razor is unchanged- it gives nice, easy, mild shaves with a twin blade. It is nigh unusable with a regular injector blade, imho. I currently have a twin blade in my I1 out at the lake- don’t need two taking these blades. One more day, methinks, to decide.
Love the scent of the Cool, and I see they are now making it in a bath soap. Will try it out.
    Have a great day all!

Aaaand a fine shave this morning with the sample Zingari(Watchman-and I don't mean @wristwatchb ). Really getting into this "soft" groove with these "pre-1957 Red Tip" shaves(which is good). The soap is in a coffee mug, thus we get the "ding-ding-ding" sound of the brush loading the soap. 0:30 and 0:20 to get a satisfactory load. Went on a little too wet in prep for the first pass, but that happens with most of my soaps. It reminded me of the Rise Invisible Gel(man I miss the Rise Superfoams). All the more reason to think "SOFT" all the way on the shave. 2 healthy passes, no Knicks/cuts. The soap is quite fragrant(in a pleasant way), which asks for an unscented aftershave to close out(course unless you have a Watchman aftershave, which I don't). Real good facial and neck feel in the end. Another Outta This World Excellent shave. 3 for 3 this week. I'm aiming for 57-57 to break Dimaggio's 56-game hitting streak(which my 10th grade history teacher-a big Sox fan-said will never be broken.)

Awesome shave, Paul! Sounds like you and that Red Tip are working out! How are you doing for DE blades. I’d be glad to send a few tucks your way, if we can keep this streak going. :happy096:

Actually, I haven't yet done a shave with the Red Tip. For clarity sake,, I've been working hard at doing softer strokes with the DisposeABLE, to mentally prepare for doing it that way with the Red Tip. As for blades, seems like I have a lot to begin with, but when I run low or out, I'd be delighted to get some from you. Tucks????

It was a struggle, but Jeff (@jmudrick) our resident put me onto the Rockwell cap being compatible. I actually prefer the FrankenFamex to my regular one.
