    It looks like my family and I (wife baby and myself) are headed south bound Tennessee that is. We both have job interviews next wednesday.

    I have lived there twice this will make the third and what should be the final time. I'm from Iowa my family is from Iowa but this last time here has not been what I expected. I miss the south from a die hard yankee as they say that says a lot.........

    Anybody ever heard of Clam Sintenel? Apparently it adds real-time scanning to ClamWin.

    Never really used ClamWin, either... just wondering if it's very effective at virus-scan.

    woo hoo... on hold for frontier.. again.. But... we are now up to 1.5 k! Still not the 3 we are paying for, but getting much closer. 48 hours ago, we were down to .2 k

    well.. I guess 1.5 is the speed limit in this area.. It isn't going to get any faster. But, the customer service rep on the phone looked at the bundle and realized that they had not included our DirecTv in the bundle. So our bundle is even better. We can't get the 3M, but we are now paying less for the slower speed we were at a few days ago.

    Oh well... time to see if this connection can handle Netflix again.

    I got a No Soliciting sign today.

    Now the Jehovah's Witnesses can stand on my front porch telling the pseudo "local high school student" selling magazine subscriptions about Jesus. :rolleyes:

    Seriously. Tuesday was some girl saying she was from the local school selling magazine subscriptions. Didn't show me anything that had the school's name on it, and had some other BS about "I have to find out what such and such number of people do for a living" and sell subscriptions. Did she write anything down that I said? No. :rolleyes: Did she have an ID saying who she was with? No. Was I born yesterday? No.

    Then Wednesday, it was the Jehovah's witnesses. This little grey haired lady on my front step trying to tell me who Jesus is (cause I was born yesterday, ya know? :rolleyes:), while the neighbors little black cat is circling her feet, made me chuckle. She looked like a sweet friendly little storybook witch. :laugh042
    My cat got me outta that one faster than normal. Don't think the lady wanted to be stuck in the middle of two fighting cats.

    And now I have a No Soliciting sign cause I am sick of these people. Of course, the general rule is anyone who knocks on my front door is not someone worth answering the door for. Cause friends know we use the side door, and they knock on the side door. Problem is I get a lot of packages. The delivery guys knock at either door.

    Now, as a note to anyone who may need it; I have nothing against any religion. I do however have a problem with people knocking on my door waking me up to spam me face-to-face. And they do it A LOT.

    When I was younger and we still lived in city limits, the various door-to-door church representatives would show up occasionally. We usually didn't answer the door. But one day my mom had a discussion with the visitor/s, did a little show-and-tell and cross-referencing between the Bible and the literature they were using....we never heard from that particular group again :D
