Thanks Dave. That is probably the one I have seen on E-Bay. It is the open handle version and I hope you get it.

I caught this one on sale for $37.50 and I don't regret it one bit.

I spent a little time polishing mine up a little more. Wet sanded with 1200 grit sand paper and put it to the cotton wheel with the white past. Spent a good amount of time with the wet sanding but I think it paid off.

A great shave this morning, but I'm afraid the Gillette Red Tip wasn't much of a factor in the persuasion. 0:25 and 0:15 to load the Jayaruh#59 brush with the Grandpa's Barbershop soap(Central Texas Soaps). Good painting action all around. For the first pass, I began with the Red Tip, going WTG(North to South)and it may have killed off a few whiskers, but that was it. Very frustrating. Same on the other cheek. I went for the DisposeABLE sooner that the plan called for, and it performed an excellent job in "long" relief. Actually, at times during the long relief, I did try the Red Tip in other areas, but again it just didn't feel as though I was succeeding. I'll look it over today(inside, at the blade spot to see if it remained firmly in place, as I thought for sure it was yesterday). No cuts or Knicks. Outta This World Excellent going 4-4. As I once said, I always want my Throwback Thursdays to be successful. As for the Red Tip, I'll keep working with it....trying to make sense of it.
