Great detailed report Barry. Theres alot to be said about experience eh ? I was apprehensive of certain blades but now I'll tackle anything :). Its a good feeling knowing that you can grab a blade and not be apprehensive.

I've solved the angle position, and can hear the buttering toast..maybe the angle isn't what it should be, but I know how to begin the process anyway, thanks to help from you guys.

My head looks like a road map. Haven't shaved it in a month and I've noticed my hair is now way more grey than last time I seen it :)

Oh I see. Well, I can respect that, but these days it appears that referring them as "teams" is VERY old-school.

Thank you Patrick...Theres alot to be said about experience eh ? Absolutely!..Once someone has gained experience technique, and shaving confidence and treat the razor with respect.. 'as you rightly said you can use a blade and not be apprehensive to do so..Yours-Barry.

Great report Dave. Glad your skin is on the mend . Lots of balm and a mild razor helps I think. I almost used my Burma shave boar last night but grabbed the Omega. I'll use it next time. Have a great day :)

Among the first orders I'll be making after completing NB'21 will be something from Wet The Face, just wanted you to know.

This is a correction to my post. Chris Bailey misspoke when he said I won an R41 Muhle. Looking back on the original giveaway announcement video, he mentioned it was an R102 Muhle. When I finally looked at the video closely, I knew it wasn't and R41. However, I am still happy that I am getting an R102. So I just want to set the record straight guys. Thanks!

:happy036: Congrats Joe . I would use any handle you prefer that fits in it . Some handles have terrible knurling and I think they could have put a bit more though and effort to use when designing them.

Thanks Patrick! I just corrected my post. I am receiving an R102 that has a similar head to the R41.

    Thanks Patrick.

When I was young, shaving was a big hassle to me.
So I started my journey in wetshaving to understand how to fix it.
Now, after many thousands of shaves, It's a pleasure and a hobby.

Great shave, Joe. I'm pullin' for a real snow day.

This is the alarm ringtone on my phone. One of the local TV stations has used this tune for years while they run the snow closings. It brings back good memories of goof off...er...snow days from many years ago.

This storm actually gave me an extended winter vacation. This was back in the day when cars were upholstered in Fine Corinthian Leather, and real men wore Oud. The Song of My People plays at the end. :)

    19 more weeks. :)
