Yes but edges can bite you. Thinner blades are another can of worms but I'm careful.....as I can be .

Thank you Jeff... My humble de razors work for me... I quote something I've learnt and follow from this wonderful shaving forum 'technique trumps tools' with the addition of respect and shaving confidence you can get a acceptable shave from virtually most razor and blade combos... Stay safe, and enjoy your weekend. Yours - Barry. :)

Headshave with a straight? You advise me against using a straight for face&neck shaving! Wouldn't it be more dangerous up north?

I live in a condo/apt. comple. All I have to shovel is my car and the area around it. They do the rest. That makes me a Red Sox.

I bought the R102 on the most recent Black Friday sale. The white part of the handle is resin and I've never felt that it's slippery during a shave.

Paul, I have been headshaving for over 11 years. I started using a shavette to shave my head at shavette shave #16 which was just over 2 years ago and that's what prompted me to go into traditional straights. I am one of the fortunate few shavers that didn't have problems out of the gate with a shavette or a straight. Yes, it can be dangerous to do a shavette or a straight shave, but you need to know your limitations. I prefer using DE's and SE's to shave my head because it is easier. I don't have to focus and it takes less time. I only do an open blade headshave just to keep my skills sharp. Yes, pun intended!.

Good to know! Thanks Andrew! Have you ever replaced the handle with a different one?

Thank you, Dave! You as well.

    Thank you, Clint!

Thank you, Jason! I love this Epsilon Blue. Obviously...
The other Epsilon scents I have seen are Amber and Scottish Spirit. Amber is supposed to be a dupe of Floid Amber and Scottish Spirit is supposedly similar to Pinaud Whiskey Woods. I've not tried either.

    Thank you, Joe!

Thank you, Patrick! No choice but to go with what life throws our way. :)

I have not. The white one works just fine for me.

A Vulcan mind meld could work; however, it is not without risk.

Patrick could find himself ditching his Molson for Genny Cream Ale at breakfast time while Joe begins to eschew (or fixes to eschew as we say here in the hills) Spaghettini alla Siracusana for poutine with double cheese and gravy.

Joe becomes a welder and wrenches on old cars as I take up the teaching profession. The mention of poutine has made me hungry . Thanks Charlie :eatdrink020:
