I like the handle on it but may change it up now and again.

Good on you keeping your daily focus going, Dave. A raw face, plus it being the weekend, today would have been the day...you are known for your willpower, however...:happy097:. Once you set your mind on a yearly rule, there is no changing your mind...:happy102:. Ok, i’ll stop now.

Lovely shave, Clint. I look forward to seeing your collection of shave soap bowls when you get a chance...a lid for that one would be cool, too.

Glad to hear the new Fatip is a nice shaver, Danny. Congrats. I’ve seen that coffee in the store, but have never tried it. A fave of yours?

Hope the storm comes and goes without incident, Joe. I can safely say that might be the first ‘lit candle’ prop I can remember here. Is the soap getting down there?

That is a great pic, Jeff, that shows off the scales of that razor and the mechanism on the Valet very well and informatively. I can see why it is your display fave.

Great summary and shave, Jason! I'm sure you’ll appreciate the quality of the Christopher Bradley razor when you first use it. I’m looking forward to following your experience with it!

Thank you Jason.. The Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap.is a hard soap (not sure if triple milled, though), I know it's going to last a long time...

    Shaving Recipe For the day.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Lemon ~ Flower Transparent Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
    Bowl Lather.
    Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: The body Shop ~ Maca root & Aloe shaving cream.
    Blade: Derby Premium. (2)
    Razor: Mühle r89.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint lavender eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Giorgio Beverly Hills ~ Ocean Dream ASL./Wilko ~ Men's Moisturiser.

    Greetings,
I've mentioned before if i had to have only one DE Razor the Muhle R89 would be a very strong contender up until i added the Parker 55SL Semi-Slant razor to my humble collection which is now on equal par to my beloved Muhle r89.. I will always have a soft spot for the Muhle r89 & Merkur 34c as both razors helped me to develop my technique and gain my shaving confidence, for that reason alone i will never part with either razor.

A relaxing 3 pass + pick ups Close comfortable Sunday morning shave with no errors to report...Finishing the last shave of the month off with a small dollop of Wilko ~ Men's Moisturiser.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

That's a really nice combination and a great shave prep Barry. I think we all have a soft spot for a certain razor . Also wondering your thoughts about the Derby Premiums since I just ordered a sample pack last night. Have a great day :)

Thank you Patrick..My thoughts on the Derby Premiums..let me start by saying as always opinions/reviews are very subjective..My personal review on the Derby premium is they are a smooth non-aggressive yet efficient enough in performance to give a socially acceptable shave. I find they work well in my aggressive razors, my theory is non-aggressive blades work well in aggressive razors, and vice versa . The Derby premiums have worked well for me in both...I found the second shave with them is better than the first feeling noticeably more sharper than i get with it's sibling the Derby extra...Give them a try out in different razors and let me know what your verdict is. Enjoy your sunday. Yours-Barry.
