    Cuts and nicks are par for the course with a DE when you are learning, Paul. Keep focusing on technique (face prep, light touch, angle, skin stretching, etc.), and your shaves should improve gradually over time. It's also important to take your time while you are learning, as it can't be rushed initially. We say "30 shaves" 'round these parts, but it took quite a few more before I got the results I wanted. Stick with it. You are on the right track.

    Chores done. I will just have to go outside to get more firewood and cover a section of the cord to keep dry.

    Glad to hear about the refreshing night, Clint. Your monthly summaries are always fantastic. A few of those pics have inspired me to bring out a few of those soaps that I’ve been neglecting as well. The Colonia comes to mind for sure.
    Congrats on the purchases...shave related? I’ve spent a ridiculous amount on golf clubs and kayaks recently, at least it has curbed my shaving purchases.

    That is some great looking lather indeed. I had that cream several years ago when I transitioned from carts to DEs and really enjoyed the scent.
