With the styptic pen, you hit the tip with cold water. Apply to weeps and tiny nicks with a side to side or dotting motion depending on the wound type. Keep it on the wound for a few seconds and it should stop bleeding. If it still bleeds, repeat the process. Do not use with large cuts that need medical attention.

Depends on the design how resilient they are, This one is solid. As far as temps it's fine shaving with hot water but obviously if temps approached what the printer melts them at you would have an issue. The damaged loaner has a design that requires gluing the 2 pieces instead of using a nut and bolt to connect as mine is. The 2 pieces were made by 2 different companies and so I think it had some issues to begin with.

Thank you, Jason. This is the only Trumper product I've tried, but I have read some reviews on the soaps that were not so flattering.

Fantastic set up and shave, Maestro. Looks like you tamed the '11 R41 into a daily shaver this month.

Dior Homme Intense seems to have a lot of fans. If memory serves, I tried the EdT (regular or intense?) at a department store and enjoyed it. I may eventually get one of the new DH flankers (see what I did there?) that are currently offered. Do you have any insight on one vs. another? I see they offer a Parfum also. Thanks.

Wow! All this talk of Mühle 41 R101 and R102 spurred you on to buy one. Congrats!

If I extend my NB to 15 months, would you pair the Tabac soap with Clubman aftershave for 30 consecutive shaves? It would be very noble of you to encourage a 30DC brother in this way.

Thanks Danny. I hear it shaves good :)

Great combo. Great shave Andrew :)

Don't fear the weeper Paul. Make sure to stretch that skin to minimize chances of cuts especially around jawline and neck.Proper angle and take it slow. You will get there :)

Seems to me that maybe the reviewer forgot to put a blade in that Feather ;). Isn't Feather synonymous with the word sharp? Awesome shave Jeff :)

Well, I think we've determined where "Canadian Nice" and "Nobility" ends. It's a sad day here.

Wonderful report Joseph. Some say they like the '11 version of the R41 over the '13 . I've never tried either but have one coming this week. I think it all comes down to who's operating the controls . Have a great day:)

Great setup Joe. We got alot of snow then rain on top coming Tues and Wednesday. Yeeah oh yea. No.:angry017:

A small show of Hillbilly strength has our Canuck whipper snapper shakin' in his snow boots and chokin' on his poutine. He probably recoils at those dark badger hairs too. Shame. ;)
