Problem with Gillette Black Beauty

I see what you’re saying, sorry I misunderstood.

 

I know it’s been a few months, but do you still have a long handle Black Beauty available, and if so, is your kind offer still good? I’ve tried several times pouring boiling water with Dawn dish detergent over it, and letting it soak a little while, all with no results. If you have plans for your Black Beauty, that’s no problem at all. Thanks, Tony.

 

I believe I do still have one. I will check this evening.

@twhite I received the Black Beauty Thursday, thanks so much! I’ll get the one that’s locked up mailed out next week to see if you can get it working. I shaved with the new one Friday and today. I don’t see many people mention the Black Beauty, but it’s my favorite razor,

 

It's one of my favorite adjustable razors ..... I don't like the Slim, but the Black Beauty will always be in my rotation!

 

The Black Beauty was my first razor A1 1980. I still have it. Granted I do not shave with it enough any more.
