Another seller just accepted my offer on these . They are not the Russian blades but I've tried them before and they shaved nice :happy088:.

That's a bummer. From which company did you place the original order?

I am going to say the razor was in a set called the Londoner sold in 1940 and 1941.
    Londoner.jpg Londoner1.jpg

Right type of handle and that razor head though called a tech is a drawing not the actual head, you can tell by the lather slots. The slots match a new flat bottom tech head. It still could have came with a regular Tech head but I am inclined to say otherwise and it is the flat bottom razor head the set came with like your razor. Reason being since it is called a Londoner it probably would have been the same style as a British made Gillette and in England they didn't start selling Tech razors with diamond indents until after WWII so the style razor should have been a flat bottom which would have been sold in England in 1940 and 1941.

Fendrihan. Usually with them the order gets shipped out next day. Got a message saying they received the order but it wasn't processed. I lost patience after 3 days and canceled it. Ordered my Fatip from them last week and it arrived in 3 days . Dont know what happened this time .

i just got one of these sets recently.same as the brit #26 set.came with this handle but the prewar triangular lather slot head, though it could be a newer version of that set.the flat bottom razor could be an early razor for that set if it was made for a few years.

Yes it is possible it came with one style head then they switched to the other. All I found is the set was offered in 1940 and 1941 and no other years. Either way nothing definitive for your razor yet.

I've calmed down now and went back to Fendrihan site and ordered the Fatip piccolo special edition since I like the il Storto so much. Let's see how this plays out. I understand shipping delays but processing a small order is a different story . Please dont drop the ball again Fendrihan!!!!
