Becareful with that infection and I know you are. We had a guy at work get a splinter in his hand and it got infected real bad. He had to spend some time in the hospital and a couple of small surgeries to deal with it. Infections are serious things today.

Thank you for your concern, Danny. I hope your friend is doing OK.

We are on it with my Bride, and we have the mobile number for our doc and his assistant if we have any issues 24/7 before we go back to see them next week. She is doing well, but her immune system is still weak from her treatment this past summer. We let an ingrown nail go too long (the home surgery didn't work) and learned our lesson. Once the infection clears (hopefully by next week), the doc can address the nail. And no more home surgery...for her.

 

I knew Costco sell eyeglasses, but I didn't know they had audiologists to see if you needed hearing adds. It is true that as we get older we lose the high pitch sounds.

 

Ouch! They are quite painful!
