    Beautiful photo and shave Jason. Furnace problems in the winter are not fun at all.

    Happy Friday Everyone! Even though I was impatient wanted to use the R102 razor right away, I decided to wait until I today when I would be in my office. At least if it was a complete bloodbath, I wouldn't frightened clients. I decided to forgo the Fat Friday and stay with the AOS Lavender cream. No surprise that the big boar whipped up a mountain of rich slick lather. I loaded the R102 with a Gillette Black for its maiden voyage. After reading so many horror stories, I was a touch apprehensive. My concerns were for nothing. Yes the razor is blade forward with tons of blade feel but I found the Rex Ambassador on 6 much more intimating and bloody. I was even able to buff my trouble areas with just a splash of water. Three passes and touch ups ended with a drama free BBS shave. A splash of Fine Lavender and I am off for my office. I hope its a short day. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    Thank you guys. I think I am finding, I do better with razors that work best with my natural shaving angle. The R102 just happened to work for me without any real adjustment. Don't get me wrong, the razor is an aggressive sucker that would bite hard.

    I will probably finish this shave cream sometime next week, but until then it's still making great lather.

    Three-day mini focus with the RR GC is finished. Fantastic tool.
    The Astra SP on its third shave was pushed to its limits.
    Two and out with these blades from now on.
    Worked fine, but I had to do too much buffing to achieve desired results.
    Desired results having been achieved, I cleaned my kisser with the Dickinson's WH;

    followed that with what has become my "go-to" ASB, the Proraso for sensitive skin.
    Completed the shave with something I found yesterday at the clearance rack at TJ Maxx:
    Burberry London EdT.

    Very nice gourmand scent, perfect for cold weather. Some reviewers have aptly described it as:
    Christmas in a bottle.

    I concur. Only downside is longevity is less than optimal, requiring re-application.
    Worth checking out, fellow frag-heads.

    Great post, shave, pic and gear Maestro! T J Maxx has some interesting men's grooming products. I was at my local Maxx store and saw a Proraso Green tub for 5 dollars. Unfortunately, I didn't pull the trigger.
