It is Friday gentlemen!

I am really enjoying this mini focus and things are becoming easier with the SRX.

Excellent Tabac lather courtesy of the Simpson T3 Trafalgar.

I completed two passes with the SRX....no weepers or nicks. The Parker SRX is a solid razor that is nice to handle. The alum was noticeable but not bad this morning. A little Witch Hazel and then a few squirts of Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger.

I have a package coming in today from Clint @clint64 that I am real excited about.....a PAA aluminum DOC. Clint had to make room for that new R102. I appreciate Clint cutting me a nice deal on it.

Had a very nice shave with this Karve again this morning. Jeeves lathers are amongst my very best, but I had it not quite as rich as I usually get it this morning. Plenty good enough, though. I must have been quite tired (or unfocussed) as I mixed my passes up on my right side cheek. Went ATG for my 2nd pass and realized it after I went over to the other side. My XTG 2nd pass is in different directions on my cheeks, fwiw. I have a true N to S growth pattern on the left side, and much more of a mouth to ear growth pattern on the right side. I just replicated the ear to mouth on both sides basically and, ergo, ATG. Did it make a difference? It mattered not a whit to me, besides the xtg 3rd pass feeling really smooth on that cheek.
This Karve rocks. I don't even think I'd get extra plates for it, to be honest...although I do love the look of OC razors.
PS- I turned the brush so that you can see the beautiful, split black hair Joseph...

Nice pic and set up Jim. I understand why you want the Werewolf look, but it is a pain to keep it neat. I remember when I had my goatee. Trimming and lining it was not fun. Eventually, I had to have a barber to it every so often. I guess it would be easier now that I can shave with a straight. However, I like the clean shaven look. Enjoy your unofficial retirement Jim!
