Wonderful shave, pic and gear Jason! Although I have mapped my beard, I don't always go with conventional wisdom. I am fortunate that I can shave in any direction I choose during a pass without irritation.

Jim, I'm with Clint on this. anytime I grow it out even when camping it just drives me nuts now that I'm so used to staying clean shaving everyday. That's a beautiful picture there but all of yours are. Always fun to see what you're shaving with and what beautiful picture you'll come up with Pierpaolo Split black hair! Thank you Joe. The two times I have used it so far there have not been any lathering issues. I had enough lather for a five pass if I wanted it. Using the Maestro's, @Primotenore, lathering method for the Fat. Today the only thing I did differently was to whip up the lather in the bowl after loading the brush.
Feb 5 SOTD Good morning guys! Shavette Shave #242 Parker SRB Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (5) JR #290 Synthetic Brush Tabac Shave Stick Pinaud Clubman Classic AS Dickenson's WH (not pictured) Nivea for Men (not pictured) Whiskers: 38 hrs This is my fourth shave of the Parker shavette min-focus. Everything went well. The Tabac gave me a nice lather and it provided my razor with a slippery skin surface to shave well. The Rockwell blade was not as sharp as I would like because I had to do plenty of buffing during my passes. Did get a very tiny weep on my stache at pass one, but it vanished without any extra help during pass two. Finished with my usual post shave routine except I double splashed the Clubman. I have to rate my shave as an IBSS+ which is fine. I have one more shave to finish this minifocus and will appropriately finish it with a new blade. Have a great day guys!

Good to know! Maybe when I am down to 5 pucks of soap, then maybe I will take the Fat plunge. Right, like I or any other serious wetshaver will have 5 soaps in his den! Lol!
Great haul Myles! You do realize that you are probably the only one in your generation that has tried vintage Old Spice and now vintage Brut. Savor these moments my friend!
