Like I said, my grammar is fine, but typing on the phone keyboard is another matter. It should be IBSS which is in between smooth shave and it lies between DFS and BBS.

Wonderful shave Jason. Who are you kidding? You will eventually pick up the additional plates for the Karve. Resisting the OC is futile. Now if it was the AOC, that is a different matter.

SOTD FRIDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 5, 2021

I apologize for the late posting, but have been rushing around grading student assignments and preparing for the trip to Tennessee tomorrow. I grabbed a seldom used shavette for the mug shave, the Monsieur Charles which used regular Schick injector blades. I loaded a vintage Personna injector and experienced a pleasant close shave, although Ikm not sure where I stand on the limited cutting edge. It didn’t impact the mug shave shave. My dome shave featured one of my favorite modern artisan safety razors, the Feather AS-D2 which delivered its usual super efficient shave. When loaded with a Feather blade, it's a truly amazing dome shaver. I feel clean, cool, and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: Monsieur Charles Shavette (Mug), Feather AS-D2 (Dome)
BLADE: Personna Injector (Mug), Feather DE (Dome)
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rearden Razor 316L SS Tuxedo Synth
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Osage Rub.
