Thanks funny man! I will probably shave Sunday morning. I will have a full 2 days growth for my new Rockwell blade to hit it. If I am called in for Monday, then I still look presentable and won't shave with my R102 until Monday night. Of course, the schedule is not written in stone.

Paul, I used electric razors for 30 years. I know that "dust" well. :)

No dust, but you'll have dry soap residue covering the DE razor. Every so often (not at every blade change), I clean the razor with liquid soap and a soft toothbrush. I wipe it down with a soft cloth, load a new blade, and leave it on the counter to dry. Most of the time I don't wipe the razor while a blade is loaded as I don't want to risk dulling the blade edge or slicing a finger.

I store used blades in a large pill bottle. Pharmacists will give you a big one if you ask for it. When it fills up, I take it to a free local sharps recycle. I can 'legally' trash used blades if I put them in an appropriate container, but it's not something I choose to do.

IMO, changing blades is the most hazardous aspect of using a DE razor. Remember to handle blades by the short edges only, and do so in good light with your glasses on (if you wear them). It's helpful to work over a table or your bed in case something gets dropped. Nothing bad like this has ever happened to me, of course. ;)

I'm glad to see you sticking with the Red Tip. It's a fine razor, and you will eventually get consistently OOTWE shaves it.

Cool that your mom sold it. My mom's friend did and gave me a bottle of Wild Country when I graduated High School. Probably why it's not my favorite. Burned out on it. Leather and Island Lime are tops followed by Tai Winds, Deep Woods and Spicy. Clint, Windjammer, Tribute, Excalibur and some others I seldom grab but should.

Agree on the PAA splashes, Joe. They do have great staying power. Great job on the Parker focus as well.
