    I know what you mean about getting nose blind to a scent, Dave. I’m finding that every 2nd day is ok for that. High praise indeed for that razor...double stacking the blades? Just the two regular blades on top of each other without modifications?

    I might be a little much for hyperbole, but that is simply one of the greatest razors ever made. Yours is in super shape as well...the finishes were notoriously not so great. Enjoy the races.

    I see. You usually go north to south. I got it! The great thing is that you have been exposed to a new way of shaving and you are succeeding.

    A new razor, Barry? Looks like a very efficient blade gap potentially. Congrats.

    The light box does make it easy to take my pictures at any time of day or night.
    I only have the C plate so I can't compare with any of the others.
    I'm not adding any shave gear this year. You forget I'm a pensioner on a fixed income that's just hoping that I won't have to buy my groceries from the cat food aisle.

    Thank you Joe...It's a shame to can't get the Nivea shave stick in the US. The 'Body Shaving' Shave stick 2 phase ASL , & Anti-irritation ASL are well worth trying out..To my knowledge the 'Body Shaving Range' is no longer produced..Nivea Men products are a great favourite of mine...Enjoy the rest of your day.:cool:

    I'm not great at geography but apparently France is closer than Russia because I'm still waiting on mine but it was cheaper than getting it off Amazon at least. I can be patient. Glad it's a good buy !

    The 2 unmodified and stacked DE blades is how Jeff said to do it. I had my doubts but smooth as can be.
    Thanks Gary

    Well it certainly is that, although I may credit Mantic for that(or whoever's video it was)who indicated that the 1957 can be done south-to-north too. N. Porcupine Alley, though, (area from upper lip to nose) has always been a "north-south" persuasion for me in the middle....S-N on the edges.

    The WS premium razor i've had for over a year..With the right blade choice it can be efficient..The WS blade matches up with it nicely, making a smooth non-aggressive yet, efficient duo..The razor has a good heft to it.

    Hey there Terry...on my end I am gradually coming to terms with the 1957 Red Tip that came via PIF. Hope all is well with you.

    Good morning gents,Saturday shave, every 3 piece razor gets to try my Canadian military tech solid handle that was derived from the valet archives,including the new fb tech..and yes,it balanced out perfectly and gave it more heft. This handle is one year only,1953,the razor head 1948 ish..making this one rare piece of Canadian made brass.

    enough babble, fabulous Razo rock lather built by the rr 400 synthetic,fine bbs was the result in 2+ smooth passes,will have a fresh blade next shave. Going to give this razor a go for a bit more. Capped off the shave with a liberal plash of matching aftershave.Awesome.

    Glad I got to return and finish up my vintage Williams mini focus, this time with real vintage Williams..was awesome and I'm glad i invested in it.,but glad to be back to some other favorites. While it isn't the real deal SMN i get to enjoy a fine Italian lather and this fine scent for less than $75..

    Have a fine day everyone..:cool::eatdrink047::happy093:
