Now, for an off-the-wall (or, for me, status quo) question: If the original Transformers movie was made today, with the majority of the population having a better grasp of technology terms, when Unicron upgraded Megatron, wouldn't it have made sense to rename him Gigatron?

 

You just know he'll be upgraded to Teratron inside of 3 weeks for $50 less...

My question is, do the autobots run android?

 

No, Android runs on Autobot!

 

I'm thinking if they re-did the movie now, they'd upgrade Megatron to Googletron. Or maybe iTron. Corporate sponsorships and all that- the final name would depend on who got to the creators first.

and have you seen that animated Transformers movie lately? I'm still amazed at its harshness. Half the good guys are killed off in the first 10 minutes, including Optimus Prime! The series was always so bland- lots of shots fired but no one ever got hurt. I can see where parents would have hated that movie...

I've been stressing because the proctor caching software hasn't been showing that it's working.

20 minutes on the phone with TS reveals that it is actually working, it's just the part that shows that it's working isn't working.

B) Yes, I have seen it lately. Yes, it is kinda harsh, but I imagine it was just to kill off old characters/voice actors, and bring in the new.
