Point well-taken Joseph. It's just that I found I couldn't accomplish much using the Red Tip in the PROPER way(through yesterday anyway). When I had my troubles today, I said to myself "That shouldn't have happened with the disposeABLE(meaning I could understand it happening with the Red Tip). Others have said that I "developed a new angle"with the RT, by using the same grip as the Dispy and actually getting more whiskers off). I'm still doing "spring training" with the RT(course I don't live in sunny Florida or sunny Arizona). At this point, I'm probably rambling, but thanks as always for your input.

Fantastic photo Jim. I love the colors. Is that the 0.78mm blade gap?

Beautiful shave and photo Gary. The scent of "The Dead Sea" is addicting. I love the stuff.

Paul the trick is not to worry about results in the beginning. Just work on the angle and pressure. When you have the technique down the results will be there.

    Parker SRX Mini Focus

    Shavette Shave # 124

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Parker SRX
    Blade: Perma-Sharp
Brush: CRD Sky Dragon 26 mm Synthetic
    Lather: Razorock X
    Aftershave: Razorock X
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

The final shave of the SRX Mini Focus was no different than the last two. I can confidently say that I have this razor dialed in. Once again, it delivered a super smooth shave without any recurrence of the previous weepers of earlier in the focus. The usual three pass shave has left my face smooth and velveteen. The alum block pass was noticeably silent.
I am go to spend the early afternoon relaxing prior to doing my first round of shoveling around 4:00 this afternoon. The snow should end around 6PM. Normally I would wait to it end but given a certain football that I would like to watch is airing post snowstorm, I will get an head start so I can enjoy the game.

Have a great day gentlemen. Thank tomorrow I will join in on the Muhle R41/102 one day event.

    Thanks, Clint!

Yeah, it's the 0.78 gap. Brutal razor until I got it dialed in.

Thanks Clint....I really want to get this down, but at times I do wonder if my manual skill level is saying "this might be the best you can do".(with the RT, that is).

    AOS Lavender Shave Cream
    Fine Lavender Pour Homme Aftershave

Another day with the R102 and AOS Lavender Cream. I think the cream should be gone in another week or two. I really like the lavender scent and performance so finishing the cream is not a chore. However, the SOTD photos and post do get boring. We got just enough ice and snow last night to have a some in the SOTD photo. Three passes and touch ups ended with another BBS shave. I did get two operator induced weepers on my chin. Overall not bad at all. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

I seem to recall your early days with the razor. Funny how some razors just click, others take time and some never click at all.
