okay, this is really strange.

The gas bill usually arrives around the end of the month, 26-29th in most cases.
This is great, since payday is on the 25th, "officially"...direct deposit goes in the day before, then there's the variables such as holidays, weekends, etc.

Still, the point is, gas bill at end of month, and I usually pay it before the month is out, or the first couple of days of the next month.
In fact, like clockwork, the past 3 months the bill has popped up in my inbox on the 26th, and the past 4 months I paid on the 2nd.

Why do I bring this up? Because night before last, I realized there's been no bill show up for the month of April, and thus, no payment sent out.

???

Even when I log onto the site as if I'm going to pay the bill, it shows a balance of $0.00.

Now, our water heater, oven, stove, and furnace are all gas, and even though the most expensive unit hasn't run, all three others have.

Don't know what the deal is, so I emailed them the other night, and just got a response, saying the next bill is due to be sent out 5/26.

What happened, though? That was my question, not when the next bill will arrive?

Which means that bill will probably be double, but that's okay, these two months combined without heater will be much, much less than the previous month that did use it, but still.....what the crap?

 

Keep an eye on that. If they made a mistake, they'll no doubt stick you with the short end of it.

Okay, here's a popsicle update:

Coffee popsicles were not such a good thing. I used Great Value brand decaf, so that might have had something to do with it. Apparently, I need to brew it much stronger, and add more sugar and more milk.

Now, I drink my coffee black, and GV does okay--when it's hot, but freezing it just made it taste musty and "green."

I had some ginger ale that had gone flat, and poured it in, and it works great, though! It has a sort of mild artificial lime taste to it--sweet and tart.

 

yup... so hypnotic, we all forgot to post this afternoon.

 

just finished watching Sorcerer's Apprentice on Netflix, pretty decent I thought, closing scenes were a bit cheesy, but overall I liked it....plus Monica Bellucci, how could it be anything but good?
