My fourth grade teacher had a crush on Joe Namath. She also picked Frazier in The Fight of the Century. I remember the teachers talking about watching the fight on closed circuit TV at the state fairgrounds. I rocked some cool Seikos at school that year, but sadly I didn't have any Brut.

Thanks Joe. You too, my friend. Sure wish you guys up north were not getting pummeled with snow. We have a couple of decent days next week before the wintry mix and freezing rain sets in. Our BC friends had never heard the term "wintry mix." The weather forecasters here use this term when they have no idea what's going to happen.

no sir..when i got mine a decent set sold anyday for $100..mine have the original "cocked finger" insignia,the first ones he had made when he joined up with Harrows.his earlier Durro "red ring" darts can be pricy as well..

Thank Charlie, but that's the typical Northeast weather. I am glad that I don't live in Boston because they had a record of over 100 inches of snow a few years ago.

 

He put darts on the map and was a fan favorite. Quite the character too . Any of his signature stuff at least doubled when he passed .
