Thanks Danny. I got medication for the sinus infection finally.:)
That's a beauty Danny. I will have to try the gentile plate and see how it shaves. :)

Thanks Jason. It sure lit me up at first then a few minutes later I felt cool. Tightens the skin alot I noticed. Is that what you didn't like about it?

Great shave Barry. I've done the cold water shaves but much prefer the warm ones especially in the winter. Props to you for sticking with what you like.

Impressive razor for the price point isnt it Barry? I gave my nephew a few tucks of the WS /Gillette saloon blades for his foray into wet shaving with the WS TTO and he loves it .
I really enjoyed the Wilkinson stick also the other day. Nice cushion and glide. Seems identical to the Palmolive stick other than the scent .
    Enjoy your day :)

The WS Premium TTO is great razor for the price, as is the WS classic 2 piece (Black plastic ) too...Both the Palmolive & WS shave sticks are tallow based, as you've stated the only difference is the scent of the WS...The WS /Gillette saloon blades will be a wonderful addition for your nephew to further his introduction to the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving.

I really like the WS blades that came with the razor but the drugstores ask ridiculous prices for a tuck of 5 blades . I believe the last time I looked they were almost 7 bucks . Hard to justify when I can get 330 saloon blades for a little more than $20.

Awesome shave, pic and gear Barry! The only shave stick that I own is Tabac. Based on my experience with Tabac, I think shavesticks are a great way to lather. Have an awesome day!

    Razor: Occam's
    Blade: Feather Super
    Brush: Techichi "The Hive"
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project on Steroids)
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
    AS 2: Terre D'Hermes Splash
    Fragrance: Terre D'Hermes EdT

So I finally got to trying the Occam's razor I bought last month. I will say I enjoyed the open handle model better but I couldn't pass up this for the price. I remember I could NOT use my preferred blades (Schick Proline) in this as it won't sit properly. It also doesn't allow all feather blades in all the heads. I couldn't with ease get a close and lasting shave and found it bulky so I sold my previous razor. Then you see SOTD pics and think maybe i should give it another try....................Thanks Danny @Hembree for stoking the enabling coals in the fire :D Fast forward to today and I used the 2 dot head with a Feather Super to get more blade exposure for the shave. I found it to still be mild but at least accomplishing it's task. Although the handle is not comfortable for me, I could get a good hold on it. The exception is my xtg pass was extremely hard to get a comfortable grip going ear to ear, right to left. The bulky "Bullwinkle" Head also makes it hard going side to side under the nose and still getting close enough under the nose. All this said, I got a very close and comfortable shave. Will I use it often? Probably not as it doesn't shave any better than other more easily handled razors. Will keep it? For now at least since it was gotten fairly cheap and kills my curiosity. It will probably end up in one of my razor tackle trays so that if I get an itch, I can scratch it and return it to it's storage. The soap Project continues and I have thoughts on this 1508.5 on Steroids project but will get into thoughts on that perhaps tomorrow. Hope everyone has a stupid fun day !

Wonderful first R102 shave Joe. Excellent use of the bowl to enhance the lather.
