If only I could afford to do a spoliation run.

There's a great little shop in Mena that's got an awesome Gillette display case for about $50... but man, the gas and time it'd take to get there... plus $50... I mean, I've got my eye on a scythe for $50 and it'd be useful for cleaning up the property, but even so, I'm contemplating putting it off for another month... I feel like I'm always putting something off "until."

I need a dose of that new German drug "Getjurazengere"

    Somebody posted this on reddit.

    I animated it.

    How'd I do?

Also... and don't panic everyone... I posted in an actual shaving thread today.

looks good to me, although I'm confused as to why someone did that in the first place. I guess they didn't have access to a utility sink?

oh- I hope that you feel better. I'll be adding you to my daily prayers. One thing though- I've found that I often don't feel like exercising. I just do it and then I feel better. I'm not doing anything dramatic either. Sometimes it feels really good to know that I didn't want to do something and see that I did it anyway. Heck, that's how my kids get fed half the time.

That is all sorts of awesome.

Today was one of those days that this thread makes even less sense at work.

Micah, I liked what you did with the bucket, but like Mike, wondered why someone would kluge such a thing. Mike's comment about not having a utility sink really had me wondering what I was missing. :D

Maybe your cure for apathy is posting in shaving threads?

On an up note, I made a DIY Bird feeder out of a 20oz pepsi bottle, an eye-hook, and a stick. I filled it about half full with some seed yesterday and hung it up, not really expecting the birds to take to it.

Well, I got home from work today and I spied what looks to be a black-capped chickadee feeding from it. While snapping pictures of it, I noticed another bird in the trees that looked different than the ones I've been seeing. Hopefully I can grab a snap of it before too long.

Also, this weekend I managed to grab a shot of a Blue Grosbeak. That fellow was difficult to catch.

except right now my givadamn is completely broked, and I don't givadam that it's broked.

just when I think the hits have finally subsided for awhile, and the past year of steel-toes-to-the-jewels have run their course....

trying to update my walmart application for part time work, trying to figure out how the he11 to categorize my current position in "sales industry" terms  :think002:think002

The closest thing I can figure is the "hobby/entertainment" choice, dealing with electronics. Though that's not exactly accurate to what I do, it's just the field, but the ones along the lines of "office" and "management" don't really accurately portray it.

Ah, screw it, I wanna be in electronics department anyway :rofl

Flooding here, Water is 50 yads + 12 vertical feet from becoming a danger.

Other than that, I'm glad to be home.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, check out what I did!

It's not an amazing accomplishment, but I'm proud of it.

Water has gone down substantially. Schools are closed for the day, so a extra day home with the wife is in order. :D

    awesome!

just heard that they opened more gates on the Morganza Spillway- that won't affect me but it may affect my parents if the levees don't hold. Those of you who pray, please keep all of South Louisiana in your prayers (as well as everyone else who's flooding).

Just took the dog out... three firetrucks, two police and an ambulance sitting outside in the parking lot, and entire crowd hanging out in the parking lot. I live in a long multifloor building. We don't hear street noise in my apartment. Looks like somebody drove through the neighboring building. I guess I won't be running out to get my wife those BBQ chips she is craving.

    Evening, all.

Justin - that's nuts. Hope everyone's alright. Any news on whether the guy was under the influence of some substance?

I've been writing another filter for the gimp... this one mimics the "focus blur" filter set to "spherical"

It's not perfect, but it's a pretty good approximation.

I don't have any samples up just yet, I want to do some more tweaking on it before releasing it in the wild.

From what I have gathered the driver hit the gas instead of the brakes by accident. When the car lurched forward she slammed down harder trying to stop the car....

Nobody was seriously injured, the driver was walking around afterwards but was taken in the hospital to be checked out.

The apartment was obviously trashed but it happened after the kids' bedtime so the children were in the bedroom and not watching TV when it happened.

    Yeah, DOM!
