    Very interesting.

I had a couple razors honed by Howard Schecter. That is a practice I believe he uses. He said it removes a wire edge.

Thank you Charlie! I had mentioned earlier that my dad was a truckdriver. He stopped smoking by going cold turkey at 51 and lived to be 83. It took a simultaneous heart attack and stroke to land him in the hospital. I found him unconscious. He stayed alive for the next 5 weeks albeit he was unconscious except for one moment when he woke up and said he wanted to go home. Those were his last words to me. My dad was a strong----!" You get the idea.

    Hi all.....
Having bought nothing shave related in 2021, seemed almost sacrilegious.
But, I am ok with blades and seeing I seem to have attained razor nirvana, nothing has caught my eye.

Then this appears on my screen....

    61MDcoKnI8L._AC_SL1500_.jpg
I wasn't looking for a razor or razor implements in amazon or ebay or...
I was at work trying to get parts for connecting wires.

    Ok...ok....
I know, I don't need another razor, I got that, but it noted that there were only 3 left, 3! Only 3!!
So I didn't think... I ordered that as fast as my little mouse would click.
I could've posted this in the haul forum or waiting on arrive, yeah probably should've.
But here I had a feeling you'd all understand the pure Christmas morning feeling.
Well, when it finally arrives I'll post it here after the first time.
Can't wait to install a new feather blade in it and take it for a spin.

    Keeping it fresh!!

Howard Schecter from Mass. is one of the great honemeisters. Nick Shaves featured him on his YouTube channel years ago. I don't even know if Howard Schecter is still around.

Rockin' shave, Danny. I can't wait to see the fully revamped PAA razor. Very generous of @clint64 to include the Godrej cream.

I've been following your Red tip adventure and it did seem like you were not having much success with the blade at hand . That's the difficult thing when you first start using a DE is everyone throws blade suggestions at you based on their experience with a certain blade . As we all know everyone is different. Once you find a blade that works for you stick with it . I know it can be frustrating at times but dont give up. I have faith in you mastering the DE and enjoying many wonderful shaves with it Paul:)

What a nice handle you created Danny ! Impressive my friend :)
