Thanks Joseph. Could be the case yes . It just seemed that when I went N to S this time a 3rd pass didnt seem necessary under jawline. :)

Well, in that case, the Fatip just cut the hair more efficiently with two passes.

Fun read and great setup Patrick! Glad the meds are working for the north end....meh on the side effects for the south end.

I could be overanalyzing my shave too. It's a different beast than anything else I used before. I am really liking it ....alot:happy088:

Thanks Blair, I have and enjoy the Blue Vintage as well. I'd love to get some of that Canadian Sport version to put in this bottle when used up. Can't get it here in the states........

SOTD WEDNESDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 10, 2021

Day 4 in our visit to Tennessee included a shave combination I’ve been looking forward to. This old H. Boker French Point featuring a cast steel Sheffield blade dating back to the early to mid 19th century is an absolute joy to shave with. The edge is just the way I like it, buttery smooth. I like to distinguish between the smooth sharp and harsh sharp honing continuum.. This particular blade is well into the smooth sharp side of that continuum and seemed to glide across my face in three slow, luxurious passes leaving the mug dolphin smooth.

The two pass ATG noggin shave was every bit as efficient. The 1945 Bakelite handled Shake Sharp safety razor loaded with its two stacked Feather blades glided effortlessly across my dome on the A&E Kaizen carpet applied with the JR Boar brush. What a fabulously close shave! The Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm application to close out the shave was the icing on the cake! This was one of those shaves that leaves the shave surfaces glassy. I feel clean, refreshed and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: H. Boker Sheffield Cast Steel French Point (Mug), Shake Sharp Model 1.5 (Dome)
    BLADE: 2 Stacked Feather DEs
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: JR Boar #372
    CROAP: A&E Kaizen
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Jeff Foxworthy on Medicine Side Effects.....the whole bit is funny (and applicable), but the 'Flora Flor' bit comes in about 1:28.

I think I'll just have itchy watery eyes too.....
