Nice Frederick Reynolds shave, Joe! I noticed that you’re propping the blade up above the pivot pin. I’d get a tack hammer and give it a few light taps. That’s really all it takes! I get nervous with loose pivot pins because of my micro tremors and possible injury. Enjoy your day!

Super shave with an international flavor Joseph!

 

Got this big ole 9oz vintage old spice lime. Honestly smells better then the regular old spice. Sorta smells like margaritas to be honest, I’ve never tried stirling’s margaritas in the Arctic but I feel like this would go good with it. Thought I read the lister said this bottle was from somewhere around 1966. Something about the bottle being frosted.

I have a Samsung S9+ and just use the default photo software. I hit the auto button and usually add a vignette. I also clean the lens before each pic.

BAUME.BE Shaving Cream

Very nice shaving cream with BAUME.BE, bowl whipped into an awesome slick lather with @MrEE's handle loaded with a T2 synthetic knot. Shave hatchet for today is a J3Customs Kamisori, a piece Derek (J3Customs owner) calls 'Corrosive'. It's blade today was 'edgy', a scaringly sharp shaver, even with the grind being a quarter hollow. I may have over stropped it this morning. Edgy, for my description....shaves like a brand new Feather DE or SE blade....requiring easy set downs, very little pressure, extremely low shaving angle during a stroke to get it's work done without overshaving an area or releasing a crimson flow (luckily wasn't an issue). Still a super fun razor to wield, almost spine riding for the neck passes. Nice BBS results. Zingari Man ASB for some skin re-invigorating, followed by a wifey favorite a vintage paco rabanne juice. PR's Pour Homme is an incredible Fougère fragrance, one of my late 2020 purchases after @Primotenore's enabling.
