Great shave this morning with the Razorock Gamechanger Jaws on the Weber bulldog handle.

The little Frank Shaving badger took excellent care of the Imperial Barber shave soap.

Three excellent passes with the Jaws and an Astra SP blade. This is an amazing razor. The alum was barely noticeable.

A little Witch Hazel and Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger to finish this fine shave off.

It is Friday and we have a cold snap moving into Alabama. Take care gentlemen!

SOTD FRIDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 12, 2021

Day 6 in Tennessee, and not particularly looking forward to our 14 hr return drive tomorrow. Some progress made, but we’ll be returning in a month to finish the cleanup and receive our second and final Moderna vaccine. Today’s shave was excellent, but how could it not have been. The mug shave featured the R. Saito SK3 and the dome the G.E. Jones Shake Sharp Model 1.5. The software remained the same as did the result! I feel cool, clean and velveteen smooth.

RAZOR: R. Saito SK3 (Mug), G.E. Jones Shake Sharp Model 1.5 (Dome)
    BLADE: 2 stacked Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: JR Boar #372
    CROAP: A&E Kaizen
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

A nice time shaving on the bay today.

    I nicked myself today...
    Not where you'd think.
I passed my ear about halfway up on the head shave. Didn't have the razor far enough from my ear on the up stroke.
Nowhere I shave mind you, but a nick still the same.
With an unguarded blade, anyplace is fair game.
A little leaking but no pain.
I've done this more than once... you'd think I'd learn by now huh??
    Well.....

    A great shave anyway.
    All
    Enjoy!!

Fine Friday shave Jeff! I repeat my software every now and then because I like the shave or I am just tok lazy to change it. It is usually the lather, oh, I mean latter. Lol!

Ear cuts are a pain and quite frustrating. You had a good headshave, despite the mishap. Have an awesome day, Terry!

Ended up not shave, nor going into work yesterday. Minor-Intermediate plumbing disaster. All is ok now, but not a good couple of weeks for me and this old house.
This morning’s shave did it’s part in getting me feeling good about things. An ok lather in a great scent, a wonderful razor with a fantastic blade and the iconic scent to end. If this really is close to Floid Blue, why did they ever discontinue it to keep their others.
Anyway, on the Keithmax scale, I’d call this one epic.

    Have a great day all!

Nice shave, Jeff. Safe travels home.

If you ever want to take a fun TN detour, this is the place where we like to hang out. We've been going there for more than 20 years. They are just like family. https://www.bluemountainmist.com/

    Thanks Joe!
I'll get it right some day...
Most don't shave with such a blade/razor combination.
Let alone use it every day, face and head.
So a mishap now and again is expected.
So long as I don't lop off an ear or finger....

    I'm good.
