Thanks, Patrick, but we probably won’t be leaving until Sunday or Monday due to a bad case of wifely jitters about the weather. :angry017:

Wow, SWMBO really has your number. Feisty younger lady you have there.

Don’t wait to long. There is the potential for another more severe ice storm Monday night-Tuesday morning.

    Thanks so much Dave!

    Thank you Clint!

Thanks Joe, a blade touch up was already in the thought process. I was going to take it back to the 12k stone though.

Thanks Patrick. We could even throw in BC as a fun acronym.

    Thanks Gary!

    Sincerely appreciated Jeff!

Thank you Jason! The Soloist is a very nice fragrance, one I’d buy an EdP of (in ‘22 ;)). And, well, always working to make an image stand out. Got some crazy ideas, need the time.

Had to go look that up. Funny. Hadn’t used that one. I’ve usually been a Redline, Rotella or Valvoline fan, Castrol or Mobil 1 on occasion. 90 weight Redline Gear oil is quite the eye blistering fragrance brand new, nose hair curdling with even a few miles on it….

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Lemon ~ Flower Transparent Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Omega S10065.
    Face Lather.
Lather : Clubman Pinaud Shave Soap.
Blade : Wilkinson Sword Classic. (1)
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Creightons ~ Sensitive PSB./Mario Falcone EDT.

    Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Last week i used the Wilkinson Sword Premium (TTO) razor with all my shaves...This week i will be using the WS Classic...The WS classic is a mild razor which is a good every day/newbie shaver. The two piece design of the razor makes it easy to load the blade, covering the full blade with no exposure of the blade edges...The Blade gap is considerably smaller than the newer WS premium TTO...The razor/blade combo perform well together giving a comfortable shave if you rinse the razor more regularly to clear the blade gap due to it's small blade gap.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable acceptable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with some generous squirts of Mario Falcone EDT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Never combined the two, but I use the Sous Vide technique quite often. Pork Tenderloin is amazing, btw.

    Razor: Gillette New Improved
    Blade: Gillette Spoiler (7)
    Brush: Graydog Synthetic
Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project on Steroids)
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Ethos Fresh Lime Skin Food Splash
    Fragrance: CK One

Progress on the 1508.5 amped up is moving along. Ring had increased enough and after this mornings load from the tub I felt it wasn't loading as well and it was time to move it to the Turkish Copper Bowl. It's days are numbered and I'm feeling that tomorrow may be a BRUT shave as a reward for where we are now.

The shave was great but clearly I didn't have as much lather as I would normally. That problem should be solved now as loading will be easier starting Monday. The Gillette Spoiler was tuggy on my final atg pass and it took care. Binned it after the shave. The Gillette New Improved is a beautiful work of art from it's time and a joy to use. Topped with Humphrey's, Ethos Skin Food Splash and some CK One and we're ready to deal with what may come our way. Pulled a Turkey out of the freezer earlier in the week and it's on tap for today. Have the Out-Laws from next door coming over for dinner and delivering some meals to some friends nearby. Have a great weekend Guys !!
