Santa Maria Novella~~Rubberset 400/3~~Dovo~~Michael for Men
48 hours stubble required a keen edge and that what this Dovo has.
Set the beard up with an
amazing, Italian Crema, with a scent like no other.
The Rubberset massaged my face like a high-end Geisha.
Went for the traditional three-pass shave. The WTG really wiped away 90% of the growth.
Could have stopped there, but pressed on.
XTG on the cheeks and neck and a final ATG pass on the cheeks and jawline.
I cannot, for the life of me contort the razor or my grip, to perform a true 90˚ ATG pass on my lower neck.
    Ain't happening.
So, I am left with a BBS shave on cheeks and jaw and a DFS+ on the neck.
I have learned to accept that and if I finish a straight shave without bloodshed of irritation, it's a success.
    Today was a rollicking success.
Finished with what has become my "signature scent"
The original "Michael for Men" by Michael Kors.

As far as I know, I ordered my last batch several years ago from Razor Blades Club out of Germany. They are still available, but ridiculously expensive. He also sells Rockwell, Muhle and Merkur blades. I’ve never used the last three, but really liked the Timor blades.

Thank you Jeff. I enjoy everything about the Nodachi but the shave. I would like it to keep a spot in the den.

All this food talk is killing me but not for long. The Butterball was NOT pardoned. Tryptophan coma to follow after Cherry Cheesecake dessert....

Awesome shave Joe! That's great that you have extra soap to test. What is not great is the canceled Mexico trip. C'est la vie!
