Thank you Clint. If I was first introduced to the Mühle R42, then I may not have gone into straight shaving. However, I will always be a straight shaver, but I will try to use the R102 at least a few times a month.

Thanks, Dave. ‘Tis only a matter of time until more plates arrive...if that’s what I want after the next gentleman caves.:)

Yes it is. Sounds like a plan, Jim. I was so disappointed in the last season, but it was still enjoyable.

Glad your homemade scuttle is working out for you, Joe, and congrats again on winning and dialing in that fine shaver.

I think you are underestimating Jim and Charlie's resolve. However, someone will be smiling, but I won't dare venture to guess.

Thanks Jason! It's taking advantage of an opportunity that helps me justify and subsidize my more expensive purchases. As you know, some scuttles cost 80 dollars and more.

I think you are underestimating the fun of the Gentleman’s Agreement. Whether they make it or not we’ll all be smiling.
Root for them if you wish, as you seem to know a lot about Jim’s resolve...:happy088:

Yeesh, it is cold there still, Jim. It has broke a bit and it warming up here finally after the coldest week in years. 2F tonight, highs around freezing after tomorrow. More like normal. I suspect you probably have similar weather patterns along the eastern edge of the Rockies.

Very nice, Clint. Perhaps the curvature of the head on the Nodachi leads to a feeling of more exposure? The Karve is relatively flat.

Very good review, Joe. Is that the same soap that Dave is trying to 3017?

Love that Yardley soap bowl, Joseph. There is a NOS Yardley Black Label Cologne travel box on the Canadian ‘bay right now. The Cologne, the matching bar soap and cool bottle of Seaforth Heather talc. The black label is a fave, right?
