We have been considerably fortunate on the North-East coast with the weather... We've had a few - 5-7c days with a few dustings of snow. The main thing is the freezing wind-chill.making it feel worse than what it actually is..Its what we call a Lazy wind.."It doesn't go round you, it goes directly through you to the bone"!:Animatedfrozensmily:..Take care and let's hope the Storm heading your way doesn't cause anything major. Yours-Barry.:happy088:

The ethanol in fuel is really bad for engines, especially if they sit. (It separates). I have a station that sells regular gas without it. That's all I use in my generator and gas-powered equipment.

    AOS Lavender Shave Cream
    Fine Lavender Pour Homme Aftershave

Happy Tuesday everyone. The north side of Atlanta has luckily dodged the worst of the weather for now. It is a windy 27F now with the roads dry. I am so happy not to have any of that dreadful ice or snow. I decided to reach for the Merica razor from Wet Shaving Club. The razor is made by Yates for WSC. While the Merica razor shaves similar to the Yates M plate, the design of the razor is completely different. The Taj Mistura ate through the remainder of the AOS shave cream. Even though I have enjoyed the cream, I am ready to move on to something else. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby without any drama. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

    Razor: Blackland Vector
    Blade: Schick Proline (?)
    Brush: Rubberset 400/Oumo Boar
    Soap: Lakewood SOCP (1508.5 Project)
    AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Anthony's Authentic Barbershop Bay Rum
    Fragrance: Penhaligon's Sartorial

Back to the grind with the 1508.5 on steroids which is basically now 4 days a week with Weds a Williams Shave, Friday and Sunday are whatever I choose. When this is done I think I may whittle the den down to close to half again on soaps with a den sale of soaps and some aftershaves and Frags thrown in too. I'd ideally like everything to fit comfortably on the 3 shelves in the shave den again. I could change my mind but I'm at a point I want variety but I don't need every new thing that comes along and so may reduce to just the ones I know I will gravitate to on a regular basis. Picking a soap to use until gone just kills the joy of getting whatever strikes me that day. Why put myself thru having to use the same one, for a month or more just with the idea of using it up so it's gone when I can get it gone by selling or pif'ing it. Just random thoughts at the moment. I may start making a separate pile of things I'm considering and let the idea stew for awhile. I had been thinking this for awhile but today going back to my much loved Vector it had me thinking about the same deal with razors. At least modern razors that perhaps I should just keep maybe up to 3 of each category of moderns and just the vintage I enjoy using. Okay that's it "everyone get out of my head. You've been subjected to enough of my random thinking for a day. I had an amazing shave with the Vector and topped off with some great juice. Have a tremendously fun day Guys !!

Great shave Clint and glad you were spared worse weather. So if you don't care, give us a comparison of feeling for the Merica compared to Yates M and H. What do you like and don't like about each and your favorite? Curious as I never tried the Merica.....
