Sound like a sound traveling strategy. We end up stopping about every three hours. Have to give poor Gromit a break to stretch his little legs and check out the local smell, and send his requisite peemail after reading prior correspondence from other canine travelers. I went through the blood clot thing myself. My doc has me take Eliquis, a blood thinner for one day before and one day after traveling. Seems to work; still pumping air etc!

    Razor: Timeless Aluminum
    Blade: Gillette 7o'clock Black (1)
    Brush: Omega Evo synthetic
    Pre-shave: PAA Cube
    Soap: Tabac
    PAA Galactic Witch Hazel
    PAA Star Jelly
    AS: Tabac

    Good morning!

Terrific Timeless Tabac Tuesday shave. Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum.

The griddle top that I ordered for my grill is scheduled for delivery today. I'm excited to get it seasoned up and start cooking on it. Unfortunately it's still too cold. I'd like to give the grill a good cleaning so I'll have to wait until temps get above freezing so I don't make a skating rink on the patio.

    Have a great day!

Temps started at 21 and falling throughout the day. Last check we were 16 too........ Nice Shave and cool tip about the piece to use another handle Danny !
Thanks Joe, you as well !
Great shave Jeff. Sorry about the sellers remorse but I'm with you on the Vector. We must have been 9n the same wavelength today as I got back to mine. It could be my desert island top 5
Great shave Joe, glad it was a gentle reminder to pay attention verses a screaming warning :)

Switched it up and went with the V3 Hawk. Got a nice lather and had 3 successful passes. The blade is getting a little dull, methinks. I was a little red without seeing any red. I think I'll spend a few days with this razor next week to get back to smooth shaves with it.
    Have a great day all!

Great shave Jim, is the aluminum in different gaps or what is it standard?

Edit: Just looked it up :happy088:

Good shave, Joe! Nicks happen! My face is a roadmap of setdown errors!

Nice shave and recap, Clint! Enjoy your day! I’ve been spending most of my morning trying to decide on whether it’ll be a sweet, perfect or dry Manhattan this afternoon! Oh my, the trials and tribulations of MOLC life!! And even more complicating is after deciding that rye was out for today’s cocktail, deciding which bourbon would be in! Oh well, we all have our burdens to bear! ;)

Great minds do think alike, Dave! I used my Vector today for my Dome shave. It was an awesome shave! I used to use Prolines; they’re good blades, but since I boarded the Feather Super train, there’s just no going back! They deliver the closest shaves with the least effort of any other blade in the den!

Glad they are the bees knees for you. I use Supers in the Occam but tried them all in the Vector and for me it's Prolines ;)

Thanks Dave! I just had to laugh when I made that memory line. Some guys get bent out of shape, but we are handling a sharp tool so chances are you are eventually going to cut yourself. I am glad that I have a soft touch because it would have been worse. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Thanks Jeff! I am trying to minimize the nicks so that I can still look good in my 70's. Lol!

As far as seeing you in Philly, I may do that! My nephew is in Maryland and is getting married the first weekend in June. I haven't decided to go because it is his second marriage. I was present at his first. My car has almost 194K and I don't know if I want to drive western Maryland. I might just send him a check with best wishes. However, if I do go, then I could always stop by. Last time I was in Philly was back in the 70's.
