I’ll pray for your return to health, Clint! The best medical advice I can offer is based on much medical contact on my part. Seek out the best resource for your issue when you have a diagnosis! I can tell you it’s not in Atlanta! If, God forbid it’s cancer! Get to MD Anderson in Houston, the best cancer treatment facility in the world(over 1000 dedicated beds)! They saved my life when three med schools in Philly had me dead and buried in 2014. If it’s circulatory/cardiac go to the Cleveland Clinic. If it’s neurological go to John’s Hopkins in Baltimore. My father was a med school professor and that was his advice! Walk don’t run to the nearest medical center of excellence! My first wife was a stubborn woman and refused to heed his advice. I wish you the best!

SOTD THURSDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 18, 2021

Woke up to 5” of snow on the ground with it still coming dow pretty heavy. After my usual two pasted strops and leather strop, the Wade & Butcher 7/8 easily swept away the mug whiskers in three slow, easy passes. I've found that my former struggles with neck whiskers go away when my razor is sharp enough! That was definitely the case today. The Barbasol Floating Head (BFH) on its part completed what turned out to be another two pass excellent noggin shave. The BFH is easily one of my top 5 dome shavers. It does sing as it cuts, but the result can never be argued with. I feel clean, refreshed and velveteen smooth!

RAZOR: Wade & Butcher 7/8 (Mug), Barbasol Floating Head (Dome)
BLADEM: Sharp Star
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
CREAM: A&E Shaving Butter
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum.

I have the La Toja and Speick shave sticks. My wife brought another shave stick back from London but I don't recall the name.

 

Thank you Jason. The bathroom is not extremely large so the ceiling took about a half day allowing for drying between coats. Still my right shoulder hated it. Now I will be shoveling again later this evening to try to get ahead of the snow before any mixed precipitation makes the job more arduous.
