Paul, I'm so sorry for you. They always treat us like royalty and we get so attached. I know just how you are feeling and my heart goes out to you. She was a beauty and will live forever in your heart!
I'm so sorry to hear this, Paul......clearly she loved those sunglasses on her! But I'm glad she was a part of your life, and I bet she was, too(glad).
Thank you Paul, she really did like the sunglasses because they allowed her to put her head out of the car window on the highway.
I'm sorry to hear that @Paul76 . We're nearly there as well. Our 13 year old will be going to her final vet visit on Wednesday afternoon. Thyroid cancer is starting to affect her breathing, and we don't want her to be uncomfortable.
Its been 27 months and a day since my last pup passed just shy of her 18th birthday. This evening I brought home Owen from the local humane society. He was picked up as a stray about 2 months ago and is probably the sweetest chihuahua I have ever met. It is nice to have a dog again...

They do a good job at the local one. It was very chaotic in there. After adopting the little guy, I gave them a donation to get the staff coffee and donuts or something this morning.
