More like Spanglish. I think its actually correct though. I am very slowly learning Spanish from the Mexican guys I work with. Best so far is "es viernes! " it's Friday!

Just watched "They Live!" all the way through for the first time in probably close to 20 years.

    What a poignant film.

    Seriously.

It applies more today than ever it did. I can't believe it hasn't been remade yet.

And a 10 minute fight scene. Like, old school, no fancy karate moves, no fast cuts, just a wide shot of two guys beating the ever-loving crap out of each other.

    Glorious.

I don't think I've ever actually seen this before, but I remember thinking it looked like it was going to be really cool when I saw the trailer as a kid. Rowdy Riddy Piper and aliens, how could it not be awesome.

I was just thinking of this movie the other day. NetFlix?

At the time it was awesome. Cheesy, but awesome...

    netflix instant ftw!

    And yes. Cheesy.

"I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum."

How can you not love lines like that?

Added to my queue.... Maybe I will watch it this weekend when wife and daughter are out for a girls day.

Conductor Hero. Half-baked or do you wish it was real?

With the Kinect system or by putting a wiimote in each hand it should be quite doable.

    Very interesting...

I would say it is at least 90% baked and could be a real product. I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see it on a shelf. It is whimsical enough that I can see people buying it.

I still have my sunglasses that let me see the non-humans.

Today got better. My buddy and his wife had their first child this morning after about 20 hours of labor. Emmett Michael Cook, 7lb 6oz, 20 inches. Everyone is exhausted but doing alright.

A Richard Gere gerbil joke? Wow. Dusting off the old material, eh? In other news, check the above quote source. ;)
