I lather build in a bowl, Fine Accroutrements, Colorado Razor Design, Van Yulay Travel Bowl or Timeless Travel Bowl. Afterwards I load the brush to place in the scuttle for a few minutes to chill down the lather or heat it up before applying to the face. The brush scuttle is to narrow, Cone Shaped, to allow for lathering.

Thanks, Danny. The Feather was the very first Stainless Steel razor I ever purchased. I ended up selling it...regretted that sale and repurchased. The fit and finish of this tool is excellent.

I have a Dirty Bird brush scuttle as well so I know exactly what you're talking about. That's why I want the little travel scuttle. I only use my brush scuttle when I face lather. I'll use one of my larger scuttles when I want a warmed or chilled bowl lather.
