Apparently raw meat activates the bacteria and keeps things flowing smoothly. TP doesn't break down fast and can be a source of clogs . I do agree that eating the meat first is better but I'm also not a septic specialist nor do I want to be ;)

I actually like the 1914 more than the 1912s I had or have . Think I kept the British with aluminum handle.

Those slip on traction aids the postman wears are a good idea for those icy days . Our garbage collection was a day late but at least they came this time . Every 2 weeks means alot of garbage setting around. Not nice in summer :)

I think it’s pretty great that she loves her dad enough to try to see what he loves, Patrick! That’s testimony to great parenting! By the way, I recommend shotgun barrel swabbing when she starts bringing her fellers around! Worked great for me! Mine married her college sweetie! Not a bad sort, of course, no one was ever going to be good enough, but they did give some fun grandkids!

Thanks, Danny! Had to go out this morning and fetch the garbage canisters! Not a lot of fun on a 22°F day with a windchill of 11. :(

    MWF~~Simpson PL8~~Feather/Super Professional~~Arabian Oud Kashmir
Just watched @Edison Carter 's most recent video and was inspired to use my Feather AC.
    BTW, outstanding video, Bill. :happy096:
Sticking with the Fat and did a face-lather utilizing my PL8.
Now THIS is a great brush.

    Excellent lather; very protective; super-slick.

The blade du jour was the Feather Professional Super, shave #1.
Bill's wasn't just whistlin' Dixie, friends, these blades are sharp. Sharp as it gets.
But that doesn't mean rough. I get a roughness from the Feather DE blade, that is
    non-existent in this one.
The AC is fun to use, easy to maintain (wink, wink) and could replace every straight in my den.
Even if I were to unload all of my straights; and someday I will, I will keep this razor.
    Today's FOTD© is a spectacular Oud fragrance.

We spoke of Yuzu two days ago, you might recall.
Mixed with White Musk, Rose and Oud, this is one of my favorite fragrances in my den.

I thought it was nice that she tried it too Jeff, and Thanks for the kind words. Shes had a boyfriend for a few years now and I approve of this guy . Looks you in the eye when he talks and has firm handshake. That means alot . The 2 of them wanted to help sand and prep the car before painting which I really enjoyed spending time with them. Hopefully she hangs on to him.:)

Cast iron and carbon steel are very similar. Cast iron is heavier and its surface has more pores. Carbon steel is smoother and lighter. Both have to be seasoned and cared for in basically the same way. Carbon Steel works better for sautéing foods. Since you had to season your new griddle, I thought it was made of carbon steel.

Thanks Jason! No disturbance at all. The Dark Side clouds everything. Impossible to see the future is.

Besides, we NB 21r’s ride together.

Great Gem shave, Barry! I’ve never shaved with the 1914. How’s it compare to the 1912?
