Saved a grungy fatboy from the antique store today.
And hopefully helped one guy with some info on straight razors. He was looking at the straights I was just about to look at

, and we got to talking. None of the straights were worth rescuing, IMO. The two in that case were absolute trash.

But I gave him some quick info on getting started.
This was the Broken Razor Antique Store.
The first 2 straights; one was broken in half, and the other was taped closed and rusted as far as the eye could see.
Then; a GEM with a broken hinge (and a blade inside WOOHOO!). It looked so sad there with it's jaw just hanging there.

And then one of those safety razors with the split barrels.
